MiniTak Laser Tachometer to Measure RPM app for iPhone and iPad

NOTE: This App REQUIRES MiniTak hardware to operate.



MiniTak App works with MiniTak laser tachometer as the first battery-less laser tachometer. It measures RPM or any rotating object, and also provide a STROBE light directly using the iPhone flash light to validate the measured RPM.

Using MiniTak to measure RPM is simple. Just attach the reflective tape to the testing machine, insert the MiniTak sensor into headphone jack, run the MiniTak app, tap and hold on the screen to turn on laser beam and point the laser towards the running machine. The app shows reading in RPM or Hz.

After laser RPM test, the result can be easily verified by the built-in strobe light feature of the app. Tap the STROBE button and the iPhone flashes with the measured RPM, which makes the rotor appearing stationary.

MiniTak is versatile. It can also be used as a battery-less laser pointer for presentation or other applications.
